How can I start a career in animation?

I am in Std X and want go in for animation in the future. Please guide me with the subjects I should take for this field.

Animators breathe life into simple drawings. They are involved into everything from traditional cartooning to high-tech digital and web animation. There are no special subjects that are needed to be studied at this level. But aptitude in sketching, drawing and deep interest in computers helps you rise fast in this field. Take the subjects you like most in 10+2, then go for a formal training in Fine Arts/Applied Art/Commercial Art/Graphic Design/Animation Design/Visual Communication Design. Many institutes and polytechnics all over the country offer these courses. While polytechnics offer such courses to 10th pass students, other institutes may require students to clear 10+2 first.
